Welcome to Amazing Grace Youth Website
Hello! My name is Tyler Malotky and I’m the new guy in town. I graduated from NDSU in 2007 with a degree in Horticulture/Landscape Architecture. After graduation, I worked for a landscape contracting company in their design division. It was a fun job, but something changed my heart over time to return to youth ministry. I had worked with the youth in college as a HS Youth Director, and really enjoyed my time with the youth. I also was a camp counselor, basketball coach, freshman bible study leader, NDSU football bible study leader, and small group leader for my home church while on an internship. I am thankful to have had some adult mentors who guided me while at NDSU through Campus Crusade for Christ. I'm very thankful for my family back in MN too, who has had a large impact on my faith life too.

My wife Katie and I are originally from Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes. We love being outside, having fun, skiing & snowboarding, golfing , fishing, playing sports, boating, and spending time with friends and family. We got married in October 2008. We arrived in Alaska in March, 2009, and have been lovin it ever since.

We’re excited to be here and be a part of the ministry at Amazing Grace. My hope is that we can get to know everyone here at Amazing Grace and that we can all grow in faith and fellowship. True spiritual growth happens when we open ourselves up to each other and share what God is doing in our lives, our hopes, and our dreams. And just as the Red Green show states “We’re all in this together!” I’m really excited to be involved with the youth here at Amazing Grace. We have already created some crazy memories and lasting experiences.

Thank you to everyone for helping us feel welcome here in Anchorage. Everyone has been so generous and kind; we can’t say thank you enough.

Romans 8:28 says “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him and have been called according to his purpose” I think this was a good move to come here :)
